Glassnode: The synchronized strength of buying in both the futures and spot markets has driven Bitcoin up to $82,000, but the market has now reached a state of balance

Glassnode's latest weekly report indicates that Bitcoin slowly climbed from $77,000 to $82,000 last week, with buying pressure continuing to support during the pullback, even as momentum began to cool near local highs. The spot CVD surged, reflecting strong bullish sentiment and a firm belief in price increases. Meanwhile, spot trading volume also increased, indicating that the recent price trend gained more support with heightened investor participation. However, the easing of price momentum suggests that buying and selling pressures are becoming more balanced, implying that the market may be entering a stabilization phase. The situation in the futures market is similar, with a rise in risk appetite. The increase in open interest indicates heightened speculative activity, with investors willing to take on more risk; the perpetual contract CVD surged, indicating sustained bullish momentum. However, the decline in long funding rates suggests a shift towards bearish sentiment, and bullish sentiment may have weakened. In the options market, the demand for downside protection has decreased, while open interest has increased, indicating a shift in market expectations towards neutral or slightly bullish. However, the volatility spread has surged significantly, indicating that the risks reflected in options pricing are much higher than the actual risks, reflecting a notable increase in participant uncertainty. In summary, supported by stronger on-chain activity, healthier profitability, and more stable holder positions, Bitcoin's market structure continues to improve. Although bullish sentiment is strengthening, the slowdown in capital inflows and cautious market sentiment suggest that the market remains sensitive to changes in risk appetite.

Slow Fog: TRON users should be vigilant against phishing activities involving counterfeit TronLink Chrome extensions

SlowMist has issued a security warning stating that a high-risk phishing activity targeting TRON wallet users has been discovered. Attackers created a fake Chrome extension for the TronLink wallet, using Unicode bidirectional control characters and Cyrillic homographs to disguise the brand name. After installation, the extension loads a complete phishing page through a remote iframe, forming a "shell-core separation" credential theft chain. The malicious extension name uses homographs for disguise, and its Chrome Store page inherits the high user count and positive reviews of the real extension, lowering the review threshold. There is very little local code, only loading remote pages, making static analysis nearly impossible to detect malicious behavior. The remote phishing page perfectly replicates the official TronLink web wallet interface, stealing mnemonic phrases, private keys, Keystore files, and passwords, and relaying them in real-time via a Telegram Bot.Built-in anti-analysis features disable right-click, developer tools, drag-and-drop, and printing, and redirect based on the geographic and language settings of Russian users to evade detection. SlowMist recommends immediately uninstalling suspicious extensions, clearing local storage, checking for abnormal traffic, and if credentials have been entered, creating a new wallet and transferring assets immediately.

Gate Ventures: Technology stocks drive market recovery, while crypto assets and investment financing synchronize their recovery

According to the latest weekly report from Gate Ventures, there are signs of phased recovery at the macro level, with major stock indices showing divergent performance but overall trending upwards, and market risk appetite has rebounded. Against this backdrop, the cryptocurrency market has also rebounded, with BTC rising 6.6% and ETH rising 4.7%, recording net inflows of approximately $823.7 million and $155 million in spot ETFs, indicating a strengthening of capital inflows. The overall market capitalization increased by 5.2%, while the market capitalization excluding BTC and ETH grew by 2.6%, suggesting that the upward momentum is beginning to spread to a broader range of assets, although the pace remains relatively moderate. In terms of asset and industry dynamics, structural opportunities continue to emerge. The top 30 assets averaged a rise of 4.2%. Meanwhile, advancements in on-chain and industrial aspects continue, including the ongoing evolution of digital currency infrastructure and asset tokenization. In terms of investment and financing, a total of 12 transactions were completed last week, with a disclosed total financing amount of approximately $54.89 million, a month-on-month increase of about 31%, with funds mainly flowing into the DeFi and infrastructure sectors. Among them, JPYC completed a $17.62 million financing to promote the construction of yen stablecoin infrastructure; 3F completed a $4 million seed round financing, with investors including Gate Ventures.Against the backdrop of marginal improvement in the macro environment, the activity in investment and financing has rebounded, with funds still focusing on long-term application scenarios and underlying capability building in a volatile environment.

GoPlus: Polymarket Hacked, Flaws in Off-Chain and On-Chain Transaction Result Synchronization Mechanism

According to disclosures from the GoPlus Chinese community, the prediction market platform Polymarket was hacked due to a design flaw in the synchronization mechanism between off-chain and on-chain trading results in its order system. The attacker manipulated the nonce, causing on-chain matched trades to be canceled or invalidated before execution, while off-chain records remained valid, leading to API false reports that affected trading behaviors of bots like Negrisk, resulting in user losses. The analysis of the attack process is as follows:The attacker submitted/matched large reverse trades with the market-making bot on the Polymarket off-chain orderbook. The attacker constructed transactions with forged/repeated nonces or utilized on-chain nonce competition, causing the on-chain transactions to inevitably revert. The Polymarket API returned "transaction successful" to the bot before on-chain confirmation, leading the bot to believe that the position had been hedged, while the actual on-chain state had not changed. The attacker then executed real on-chain trades to take advantage of the direction exposed by the bot, thus profiting "risk-free."Since the revert occurred at the chain level, Polymarket fees would not explode, making the attack cost controllable and executable continuously.GoPlus recommends that users pause automated trading tools, verify on-chain trading statuses, enhance wallet security, and closely monitor official announcements from Polymarket.
