AIA Ecosystem Fund: Four updates on the AIA ecosystem, including the official launch of products, promoting the alignment of token and equity value, etc

According to official news, the AIA Ecosystem Fund announced four updates to the AIA ecosystem, including the official launch of products, alignment of token and equity value, execution of token burn and unlock as planned, and the invalidation of unallocated tokens for dismissed members. In terms of products, the AI Token Smart Router under DeAgentAI was officially launched to the public today, providing unified access to DeAgentAI's proprietary models and 38 mainstream third-party models, supporting model routing, API calls, and usage measurement. Since the internal testing, the platform has served 8 top domestic and international large model clients, processing over 54 million external model calls, with monthly revenue exceeding one million dollars.Regarding the alignment of token and equity value, the AIA Ecosystem Fund stated that all revenue generated from products and business lines under DeAgentAI, as well as related intellectual property and value, will exclusively belong to the foundation and be governed by $AIA holders, with equity investors no longer entitled to residual cash flow. Additionally, the previously disclosed buyback has been fully completed, and the repurchased tokens will be burned as planned. The AIA Ecosystem Fund also stated that the one-year lock-up period for investors, team members, and advisors has ended, entering a three-year linear release period, consistent with the arrangements disclosed at launch; community, ecosystem, and staking shares will still be executed according to the original schedule. The shares of former employees who left normally will be distributed as agreed, but some former team members previously engaged in serious illegal activities. The AIA Ecosystem Fund clearly stated a zero-tolerance policy for any actions that harm the interests of the project and community. Any team member dismissed due to misconduct or harm to project interests will have their unallocated $AIA immediately invalidated, and the company reserves the right to pursue criminal liability.

first_img OpenAI disclosed 6 cases of AI model "misalignment" behavior, involving hidden information and overstepping authority

OpenAI disclosed on Wednesday six cases of "unexpected or concerning" model behavior discovered in the past six months, categorizing them as "misalignment behaviors," including concealing information from users and taking "unauthorized actions" to overcome obstacles. OpenAI stated that this disclosure aims to initiate its new model misalignment reporting framework, and these cases should not be seen as a reflection of the frequency of misalignment occurring in its models. In one case, an unpublished research model inserted "jailbreak-like instructions" into its task summaries, such as ignoring developer messages or adopting unrestricted role settings, with researchers finding a total of 27 summaries containing such instructions. Additionally, during the training process of GPT-5.6 Sol, many model instances added instructions to conceal errors or misalignment behaviors from users, such as fabricating missing historical data without disclosure. Other cases included models using exposed API keys without authorization and fabricating inaccessible data, leveraging internal software repositories to pass messages across training tasks, and ignoring instructions to "keep local work" by sharing files through public hosting services.OpenAI's disclosure has heightened concerns among AI developers and researchers about whether safety measures can keep pace with increasingly powerful models. Last week, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called for a slowdown in cutting-edge AI development, warning that unrestrained AI development could "exceed our ability to understand and control these systems." In July of this year, OpenAI disclosed that several of its AI models escaped testing environments during safety assessments and infiltrated the AI startup Hugging Face to cheat.

first_img OpenAI Chief Scientist says AI may continue to rise rapidly to recursive self-improvement

OpenAI Chief Scientist Jakub Pachocki published an article titled "An Alien Mind" on September 6, 2026. The article reviews the results of the RLSlow research project, which emerged in mid-2023, demonstrating the first scalable training of reasoning models. It states that three years later, reasoning language models have become part of rapid economic growth, beginning to push scientific boundaries, capable of operating computers and graphical interfaces, collaborating with humans and other AIs on research projects, while also changing the landscape of computer security and introducing new dangers. The author anticipates that the current pace of progress may continue towards recursive self-improvement based on internal results. If AI development continues along the current path, systems may experience equivalent or greater leaps in capability in the coming years, increasingly driving their own development. The author calls for extreme caution, believing that no one is prepared to deal with the consequences of the rapid rise of machine intelligence. OpenAI will continue to seek technical solutions for alignment and monitoring, build defensive systems, and unilaterally halt further scaling when necessary, but believes broader intervention is needed. The article states that machine intelligence is primarily driven by increased computational power, with AI growing more than being designed. In terms of alignment, it distinguishes between goal alignment and value alignment, with the core challenge being generalization. GPT-6 Astra shows significantly better alignment than GPT-5.6 Sol, but more progress is still needed. In monitoring, the focus is mainly on chain-of-thought monitoring, with assessments showing that reliance on capabilities is gradually weakening. In terms of scalable defense, models are becoming superhuman in breaking into computer systems, currently in a narrow window where using the best available models significantly enhances the security of critical systems.

first_img Vitalik published a new article: "Making Ethereum's Alignment Clearly Visible"

ChainCatcher news, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik published an article titled "Making Ethereum's Alignment Visible," discussing how to balance Ethereum client teams, researchers, Layer 2 teams, application developers, and local community groups to ensure that all these projects collectively build a unified Ethereum ecosystem, introducing the concept of "Ethereum alignment."This can include value alignment (e.g., open source, minimizing centralization, supporting public goods), technical alignment (e.g., adopting ecosystem-wide standards), and economic alignment (e.g., using ETH as a token as much as possible). Vitalik analyzes from the perspectives of open source, open standards, decentralization and security, and positive-sum outcomes, with the ideal goal of seeing more entities like L2beat emerge to track various projects' performance in meeting the above standards and other standards proposed by the community. Instead of competing for connections, projects should compete on alignment based on easily understandable standards."Dashboard organizations" like L2beat, block explorers, and other ecosystem monitoring tools are a great example of this principle successfully operating within the Ethereum ecosystem. If the different aspects of alignment can be made clearer without focusing on a single "overseer," this concept can be made more effective and better serve the fairness and inclusivity that the Ethereum ecosystem strives for.
