Ideal Semiconductor's subsidiary advances first round of financing with a pre-investment valuation of approximately 15 billion yuan

According to an exclusive report from Late Auto, the chip subsidiary of Li Auto is advancing its first round of external financing, with a pre-investment valuation of approximately 15 billion yuan, planning to raise several billion yuan. Business registration information shows that Mach Intelligent Cores Limited was established in Hong Kong on July 14, and on August 4, it fully established Shanghai Mach Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., with Li Auto's CTO Xie Yan serving as the legal representative; a few days later, it also fully established Shanghai Mach Heart Technology Co., Ltd., with the legal representative being Li Auto's co-secretary Wang Yang.Li Auto's self-developed chip team consists of about 200 people, mainly engaged in AI computing architecture, chip design, and related software development, while advancing two types of self-developed chip projects for vehicles and the cloud. Its first self-developed chip, Mach M100, has entered mass production and is equipped in several new or updated models launched this year; another cloud inference chip is under development, also using a data flow architecture. In the first half of this year, financing in the domestic semiconductor sector amounted to approximately 162.7 billion yuan, with AI computing being one of the key areas for funding. For reference, NIO's chip subsidiary Anhui Shenji completed its first round of financing of 2.257 billion yuan in February this year, with a post-investment valuation of nearly 10 billion yuan.

Grass: The revenue on the books for the first half of this year is approximately 14.5276 million USD

The decentralized bandwidth sharing and AI data infrastructure project Grass announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Grass DataCo Ltd. provides data infrastructure to cutting-edge model training AI laboratories and released an independent revenue verification completed by Regen Financial, covering until the second quarter of 2026. Grass stated that the revenue generated from customer contracts goes directly to Grass DataCo Ltd., rather than Wynd Labs; Wynd Labs is an independent vendor that assists in product development and engages in sales and marketing, and this structure is designed to keep DataCo's revenue within the Grass ecosystem. The verification document shows that it reviewed 100% of the work orders for two periods and traced them back to cash receipts: Period One is from March 14, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with a reported revenue of approximately $17.5869 million, and cash receipts verified at approximately $16.2395 million; Period Two is from January 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, with a reported revenue of approximately $14.5276 million, and cash receipts verified at approximately $11.3514 million. The total reported revenue for both periods is approximately $32.1145 million, with verified cash of approximately $27.5909 million, and the discrepancy of approximately $4.5236 million is explained as the portion that has not yet been independently confirmed through cash receipts as of the program date, largely related to long-term contract deliveries and an approximately 60-day payment cycle. The document also notes that this is a due diligence procedure and not an audit or assurance engagement, and it does not express an opinion on the overall financial statements.Grass stated that it will reinvest most of its revenue back into the business; it has pre-purchased computing and storage for 2025, claiming that this move has reduced network operating expenses by an average of over $2.5 million per month, and it states that this is one of the direct reasons for achieving profitability at present. The project claims it will continue to build the ecosystem centered around tokens and will consider financial transparency as part of establishing trust with network participants and token holders.

U.S. Department of Justice: California woman sentenced to prison for concealing $2.6 million in cryptocurrency crime proceeds

The U.S. Department of Justice announced that Iris Rabaya Au, a 37-year-old woman from Irvine, Orange County, California, was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for failing to report over $2.6 million in illegal income to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). She was also ordered to pay $1.484 million in restitution and had multiple luxury cars, high-performance vehicles, designer handbags, and three "Godfather" sculptures confiscated. Au is the ex-girlfriend of cryptocurrency scammer Adam Iza.Prosecutors stated that between 2020 and 2024, Iza fraudulently obtained Meta advertising accounts and credit lines, selling account access and earning millions of dollars in unreported income. At Iza's direction, Au set up shell companies and opened bank accounts, using the related funds to pay approximately $1 million to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) officers and to purchase or lease luxury homes, cars, jewelry, and clothing. They also spent nearly $10 million on entertainment and purchased about $16 million in cryptocurrency for Iza. Between 2020 and 2023, Au transferred over $2.6 million into her personal bank accounts but did not accurately report it on her federal tax returns. She pleaded guilty to one count of false tax return in March 2025. Iza pleaded guilty in January 2025 to charges including conspiracy to infringe rights, wire fraud, and tax evasion, with a sentencing hearing scheduled for October 5. He was also sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for his involvement in an attempted Bitcoin robbery and kidnapping case in Connecticut in August 2024.

first_img Polygon plans to deploy a permissionless burn contract, with the first round burning 100 million POL

Sandeep Nailwal, CEO of the Polygon Foundation, stated that Polygon is preparing to deploy a permissionless burn contract that allows anyone to permanently burn 100 million POL, which accounts for approximately 83% of the 121 million tokens held by the Polygon base fee collector. The contract is currently live on the testnet and will be deployed to the mainnet after the security committee completes the final signature. The first round of burns will permanently destroy 100 million POL, after which community members can trigger burns every quarter. Polygon's documentation indicates that the base fee is determined by the network and will be burned, with Nailwal stating that each base fee will inject POL into the collector. Based on the above data, approximately 21 million POL will remain in the collector after the initial burn. This burn represents about 1% of the initial supply of 10 billion POL, and based on a total supply of approximately 10.716 billion as shown by Blockscout, it accounts for about 0.93%. The burn will not set a hard cap on POL, which will continue to be issued, with an annual issuance rate of about 2% after June 2025. Nailwal also mentioned that POL has entered deflation starting January 2026, citing data from his "ChatGPT Analyst" that Polygon's revenue in 2026 will be $24.5 million, higher than Arbitrum's $8.41 million and Near's $5.6 million.
