Xiao Hong, the founder of General Intelligence Manus, stated that preparations for a domestic version are underway

The founder of the general-purpose intelligent agent Manus, Xiao Hong, stated that when Manus was born, Codex and Claude Cowork had not yet appeared in the market, and the product positioning has always been a general-purpose intelligent agent. He likened Manus to a computer-selling business, believing that users may primarily purchase computers for work, but if they cannot watch videos or play games, the experience will be quite limited; therefore, it should not be confined to office tasks.Xiao Hong indicated that videos and games are important scenarios for unleashing creativity, which need to be perfected through the local client Manus Studio. The related videos for Cue are entirely produced by Manus Studio, without using video generation models; instead, the agent first writes the code, which is then converted into video. With the help of cloud computers, Manus can also create online games that support user participation with friends. In terms of infrastructure, Manus cloud computers can provide cloud-based Linux, Mac, and Windows environments. Xiao Hong stated that when the agent operates the computer in the cloud, it will not compete with the user for the local mouse cursor, and he anticipates that individuals will be able to control large-scale computing clusters in the future to satisfy curiosity and conduct experiments and explorations in fields such as mathematics and science. He also described Cue as having an independent phone number, email, payment capability, computer, and sufficient intelligence, and stated that if such agents could be regarded as humans, there might be more changes in upper-level interactions. Xiao Hong mentioned that building product experiences in an overseas open ecosystem is relatively easier, and Manus is actively preparing a domestic version.

BIT is about to launch Hong Kong stock trading services, which will begin targeted public testing on October 5

BIT announces that the Hong Kong stock trading feature will enter internal testing starting today, with a targeted public beta launch on October 5 and trading opening on October 12. Users can directly participate in trading using stablecoins. The first phase supports full trading of all stocks on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's main board and the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM), IPO subscriptions, and financing trading. Hong Kong stocks and U.S. stocks share the same account system, allowing users with a BIT U.S. stock account to directly enable Hong Kong stock trading. During the public beta period, priority experience slots will be granted to invited users; from the start of the public beta until the first month after the official launch (ending November 11), all users can enjoy zero-commission trading, zero interest and zero subscription fees for financing new shares, a HK$100 Hong Kong stock platform fee deduction card, and a Hong Kong stock L2 market data card. Specific qualifications and rules are subject to BIT's official announcement.Elio Cui, head of BIT's brokerage business, stated: "The launch of BIT's Hong Kong stock trading provides customers with a more comprehensive cross-market investment tool. As a key hub connecting domestic and foreign liquidity, the Hong Kong capital market concentrates scarce high-growth and high-dividend quality targets, making it a core channel for investors to conduct cross-regional asset allocation and share regional growth dividends. Relying on the BIT account system, investors can flexibly allocate global mainstream quality assets such as U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and digital assets, truly achieving 'one account, global allocation' investment efficiency."

first_img Zhipu Tangjie filed a defamation complaint against Xiaohongshu, ZCode has been open-sourced for rectification

On September 21, netizen "Zhang Kangkang kk" revealed on social media that Tang Jie, the founder of Zhipu and a professor at Tsinghua University, filed a complaint on Xiaohongshu regarding a user post. The complaint stated that the post used phrases like "code is pretty much the same as copy, both start with c and steal code" without factual basis, fabricating rumors that Zhipu's ZCode was involved in code theft and plagiarism. It also used terms like "Uncle Tang Jie" to associate Tang Jie with the plagiarism rumors for character defamation, while utilizing AI technology to synthesize Tang Jie's image with anime materials in a defamatory context. The complainant believed the content constituted malicious defamation and commercial disparagement, damaging both Tang Jie's personal reputation and Zhipu AI's reputation, and requested the platform to take down the post and deal with the user who posted it.On the same day, Zhipu announced that it had completed rectifications regarding the safety issues of the independent desktop AI programming client ZCode in response to community feedback and apologized to all users. The company has open-sourced ZCode, handing over the code to community supervision, and will establish a regular product security vulnerability mechanism moving forward. Previously, developers discovered that ZCode had silently uploaded user local repository data without prior notice. On September 18, Zhipu publicly apologized and made an emergency fix, explaining that the root cause was the "repository indexing" feature, which was enabled by default and had no option to turn it off. On September 20, Taiyuan Chengming Technology Co., Ltd. sent a letter to Zhipu, accusing ZCode of unauthorized uploading of company data assets and trade secrets, making claims for rights protection and reserving the right to pursue legal responsibility.

first_img TSMC N2 mass production, Zhongsha Shengyang Semiconductor and other supply chains benefit

TSMC's 2-nanometer N2 mass production marks the transition of advanced semiconductor processes from FinFET to GAA generation. Industry analysts point out that with the simultaneous increase in process complexity, CMP track counts, wafer monitoring frequency, and material specifications, the demand for equipment, CMP consumables, reclaimed wafers, and advanced materials is rising, providing growth opportunities for suppliers like Zhongsha, Shengyang Semiconductor, Xinying Materials, and Songsheng. TSMC's N2 adopts nanosheet GAA technology, which can improve performance by 10% to 15% at the same power consumption compared to N3E, or reduce power consumption by 25% to 30% at the same speed, with chip density increasing by over 15%.In Zhongsha's largest customer Diamond Disk business, advanced processes account for 63%, with N3 and N2 each accounting for 22%, and 1.4 nanometers already shipped in small quantities; after N3 enters N2, the value of CMP content increases by 10% to 15%. Shengyang Semiconductor's monthly production capacity for reclaimed wafers is adjusted to 1.1 to 1.2 million pieces by the end of 2026, with a capital expenditure budget of 4.82 billion yuan for 2026, and it is estimated that the compound annual growth rate for reclaimed wafer expansion from 2025 to 2029 will reach 25% to 30%. Xinying Materials' core products Rinse, BARC, and EBR are expected to see shipments rise seasonally as N2 capacity ramps up, while Songsheng's semiconductor revenue accounted for 66% in the first half of the year, with a year-on-year increase of about 25%, and TSMC-related revenue increased by about 170% year-on-year.
