Ukraine has transferred confiscated cryptocurrency assets to state management for the first time, involving over 8.3 million USDT

According to CoinDesk, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine announced that it has transferred over $8.3 million worth of USDT to a cryptocurrency wallet controlled by the country's asset recovery agency ARMA (National Agency for the Search, Tracking, and Management of Assets). This marks the first successful inclusion of seized cryptocurrency assets into national management in Ukraine's history. The transfer was made based on a court order and stems from an investigation by the National Bureau into an international hacker organization. The funds involved came from a wallet belonging to a member of this organization, which has been accused of attacking individuals and businesses in Europe and the United States to steal data and extort money. The proceeds were laundered in Ukraine through high-value assets such as real estate and vehicles. Currently, four suspects have been detained but have not yet been sentenced, with estimated losses exceeding $100 million. The report notes that the funds are currently only held in custody and have not been formally confiscated, as confiscation requires a court ruling. At this time, Ukraine is considering establishing a strategic reserve for cryptocurrency, similar to previous ideas from the United States. The reserve funds would come from confiscated cryptocurrency assets in criminal and civil cases, rather than being purchased on the open market.

StableStock launches leveraged spot trading feature, supporting stablecoin trading for over 700 global assets, with a maximum leverage of approximately 10 times

StableStock officially launched its leveraged spot trading feature today. Users can now directly use stablecoins to conduct leveraged spot trading on global market targets, accessing the real stock market through stablecoins.Leveraged spot trading supports zero interest for intraday trading: positions opened and closed before the end of the day's after-hours session do not incur interest, with only the overnight portion subject to interest calculation according to the rules, effectively reducing the holding costs for active traders. This covers major global markets, allowing for leveraged trading on over 700 targets, with a maximum leverage of about 10 times, including SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics, Zhizhu, and many popular US stocks; in addition to individual stocks, several short (inverse) ETFs are also included, providing options on both long and short sides.StableStock CEO Zixi stated: "Leveraged spot trading further connects stablecoin settlement with the real stock market, marking another step for stablecoins from being a settlement tool to becoming an entry point for real asset trading."Users must complete identity verification (KYC) and transfer funds to the leveraged account before use; interest calculation, forced liquidation, and other details are subject to the product page. Leveraged trading will amplify both gains and losses, so please use it cautiously.StableStock is supported by institutions such as YZi Labs, MPCi (Matrix Partners China), and Vertex Ventures, and currently supports trading on approximately 1,400+ global stock targets, with plans to continue expanding into more markets and categories.

The U.S. Senate is striving to advance the cryptocurrency bill in July, but agendas such as the housing bill may squeeze the time window

The U.S. Senate is trying to advance the cryptocurrency market structure bill, the "Clarity Act," in July, but the time window for the bill's passage is narrowing due to a backlog of priority agendas such as the defense authorization bill, the agriculture bill extension, and housing legislation. The Senate's schedule is tight in the coming weeks. In addition to the annual defense and agriculture bills, Trump stated on Wednesday that he would not support a major housing bill unless Congress first passes a bill requiring federal election voters to provide proof of citizenship. This housing bill also includes provisions to prohibit central bank digital currencies. As members of Congress will leave Washington before the August recess, if the relevant bills do not advance before then, the political focus will shift to the November elections when they return, further reducing the available floor time for cryptocurrency legislation. Republican Senator Cynthia Lummis indicated that a new version of the text is expected to be released around July 4 for final review by lawmakers, with a vote planned for July. A Senate aide also mentioned that the "Clarity Act" will become one of the bipartisan priorities when the Senate reconvenes in July. However, the bill still faces multiple uncertainties, including the level of Democratic support, controversies over Trump's related cryptocurrency conflicts of interest, the priority of other significant bills, and the Senate's limited scheduling.
