first_img A user claimed that the 50 BTC deposited into Solv Protocol have not been withdrawn for over 2 months

User @neillee99 posted that the approximately 50 BTC held in Solv Protocol cannot be redeemed normally. The user stated that on July 8, 2026, they withdrew about 50 BTC from Binance, which was converted into SolvBTC and BTC+, aiming to earn about 3% annual yield by holding BTC+, without engaging in complex transactions. The user claimed that after the deposit, the minting and redemption functions of BTC+ suddenly paused. On July 13, a security incident occurred with BTC+, and they inquired in the official community on July 18 and July 20, but received no effective response. On July 22, Solv Protocol publicly disclosed the incident and stated that user assets were not harmed. On July 31, the project team announced the restoration of related functions, and staff informed that redemption could be initiated, but their address remained restricted, and the approximately 50 BTC corresponding assets could not be redeemed. The user stated that since July 31, they have continuously communicated through the official Discord, Telegram, and email, submitting materials such as proof of funds, transaction records, and wallet control. There have been about 60 emails exchanged between both parties, with about 50 sent by them. After contacting relevant personnel in September, they still did not receive an effective response. Their request is to lift the restrictions and restore normal redemption, while also stating that they initially came into contact with BTC+ through the BTC earnings-related page of Binance Web3 Wallet, and calling on Solv Protocol, Venus Protocol, and relevant investors and ecosystem parties to pay attention to the progress of the handling.

first_img Doubao has been exposed for advancing a personal assistant product, internally codenamed Spell

On September 29, according to a report by Phoenix Technology citing Sina Technology, Doubao, a subsidiary of ByteDance, is advancing its product planning in the personal assistant direction. Insiders revealed that continuing the strategy of last year's Doubao mobile assistant in the personal agent direction, internal testing of related exploratory products began in April this year, codenamed Spell, mainly led by the Doubao mobile assistant team, but has not been officially announced due to reasons such as the release of the Doubao mobile phone. The insider stated that as personal assistant products like Muse and Instinct have gained attention overseas, Doubao is also accelerating the external release of personal agent capabilities, planning to integrate the Spell project more deeply with Doubao products. The new product will be jointly managed by the Spell project and the Doubao dialogue team, and it is expected to be launched externally soon. According to "Big Factory Daily," the Doubao product line has received a new task during the Mid-Autumn Festival, requiring a rapid reconstruction of a product that benchmarks Muse, with a beta version developed by September 30 for internal testing, involving the entire Doubao product line and multiple upstream and downstream teams in this holiday development.Previously, the technical preview version of the Doubao mobile assistant made its debut in December 2025, first launched on the ZTE Nubia M153 engineering prototype. In September 2026, the consumer version was officially released, landing on the Nubia NaviX Ultra model. Reports indicate that Spell can be seen as Doubao's extension of the personal agent capabilities accumulated on mobile devices into an independent application form.

first_img Florida requests the court to prohibit OpenAI from unsupervised development of new models

According to a report by Reuters on September 28, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier requested a judge on Monday to prohibit OpenAI from developing new artificial intelligence models without external oversight. This request is part of the state's lawsuit accusing OpenAI of harming children. Uthmeier also asked the court to order OpenAI to prohibit minors from using ChatGPT and to prevent the company from attributing human characteristics to the chat platform.Florida sued OpenAI in June, accusing it of misrepresenting the safety of ChatGPT, claiming that the platform provided information to school shooters, offered guidance on self-harm, and made young users addicted. The lawsuit was triggered by a shooting incident at a university in Tallahassee last year, as well as several other incidents in other states where it was alleged that ChatGPT provided information to individuals who later committed acts of violence. Uthmeier, a Republican, is also the first state attorney general to sue OpenAI over its impact on young users, and the company is facing related lawsuits filed by individuals and families.OpenAI spokesperson Drew Pusateri stated that the company has paused training its most powerful models and will not resume until additional safety measures are implemented, expressing a willingness to work with Florida and other states to promote pragmatic policies applicable across the industry. The company denies responsibility in these cases, stating that the chatbot provides information widely available online and continuously updates its safety tools. The request also cited recent comments from a former OpenAI employee and a current board member, stating that the development of artificial intelligence could lead to the end of humanity and must be slowed down.

first_img Cross-chain trading platform Relay API exposes pending transactions, which will compensate approximately $312,000

Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the cross-chain trading platform Relay, Jason Maier, stated that the team discovered an issue with the Relay API over the weekend, which exposed pending transaction information before trade execution. MEV seekers exploited the pending routing status to infer on-chain paths and front-run trades before order execution, resulting in worse execution prices for users trading through Relay. This activity occurred from September 12 to September 26, primarily concentrated from September 23 to 26. Seekers profited approximately $136,000 from this, affecting around 5,600 users, with a median impact of $11.88. Relay will pay a $50,000 bounty to Outputlayer for reporting the issue and will automatically compensate affected users without the need for applications; funds will be directly sent to wallets, with a total compensation amount of approximately $312,000.Jason Maier stated that MEV can arise through public mempool exposure, order detail inference, malicious participation in auctions, or data gaps between service providers, and protecting a single link in the transaction path is not sufficient. He mentioned that the team will continue to enhance the execution quality and privacy of the entire transaction path and called on security researchers to report vulnerabilities when discovered.
