Gate has become the largest platform in TradFi, accelerating the connection between CFD, crypto funds, and global assets

The Gate Research Institute recently reported on "The TradFi Battle of Cryptocurrency Exchanges: Gate CFD's Path to Cross-Asset Breakthrough," indicating that since 2026, cryptocurrency trading platforms represented by Gate have been accelerating their breakthrough of digital asset boundaries, with CFD business becoming the primary trading entry point connecting stablecoin funds and global traditional assets. As user demand for trading and hedging in gold, foreign exchange, stocks, indices, and commodities grows, industry competition has shifted from merely competing on leverage and trading varieties to a comprehensive contest of asset coverage, liquidity, execution quality, risk management, and capital efficiency.In this round of TradFi expansion, Gate is forming a clear first-mover advantage. According to publicly available data, Gate accounts for approximately 39.4% of the trading volume among the five platforms that have disclosed TradFi transaction amounts, completing its transition from catching up to leading in just two months, becoming the largest top-tier platform. More notably, Gate's layout is no longer limited to increasing CFD categories but is based on USDT and a unified account entry, connecting CFDs, perpetual contracts, stocks, ETFs, IPO Access, and wealth management, while further accommodating professional and institutional funds through tools such as API, copy trading, OES, and CrossEx. Whether Gate can convert its temporary transaction advantage into long-term liquidity, capital retention, and professional service capabilities in the next phase will be key to whether its TradFi strategy can form a sustainable barrier.

The research organization SemiAnalysis released an analysis indicating that Google DeepMind is no longer among the leading AI laboratories. A week prior, DeepMind co-founder Demis Hassabis stepped back from daily operations, and key members such as Google Chief Scientist Jeff Dean and Gemini co-lead Oriol Vinyals left to establish a new lab called Discovery Loop. The analysis suggests that the long-term struggle within Google over computing power allocation between Gemini and GCP has concluded with GCP emerging victorious.SemiAnalysis stated that Gemini 3.5 Pro has been canceled, and Gemini 3.6 Flash's performance is inferior to that of leading Chinese open-source models and Grok 4.5. Currently, Gemini has fallen to the 8th or 9th position in the large model rankings. Meanwhile, GCP is selling a large number of TPUs to competitors like Anthropic, having secured long-term leasing and sales contracts for hundreds of thousands of TPUs over the past nine months. The Tokenomics model estimates that Gemini's own ARR is about $12 billion, while GCP's third-party AI cloud service revenue is expected to exceed $73 billion by the end of 2027, with TPU system sales contributing an additional over $120 billion. GCP's latest quarterly growth rate is 82%, and it is expected to accelerate to over 100% by 2027 due to TPU system sales, contributing approximately $3 to Google's earnings per share.

Japanese NAND manufacturer Kioxia is accelerating its layout in the AI NAND market. This year, it has launched mass production of the 10th generation (BiCS 10) 332-layer 3D NAND and based on this, introduced the PCIe 6.0 supported data center eSSD "CM10," which has improved sequential read performance by up to 92% compared to the previous generation. In addition, Kioxia plans to start mass production of UFS 5.0 embedded storage by the end of this year, with data transfer speeds approximately doubling compared to UFS 4.1, primarily targeting the AI mobile device market. According to TrendForce data, Kioxia's global NAND market share in the first quarter of this year was 13.9%, ranking third, following Samsung Electronics (31.6%) and SK Hynix (17.6%).Korean manufacturers are also quickening their pace. Samsung has begun mass production of the PCIe 6.0 eSSD "PM1763" last month, equipped with the 9th generation V-NAND and a 4nm controller, with plans to mass produce UFS 5.0 in the fourth quarter. Samsung also announced that it will start mass production of the 10th generation V-NAND (approximately 430 layers) this month, applying hybrid bonding and triple stacking technology for the first time. Industry analysts believe that Kioxia is quite competitive in terms of the speed of technological iteration, but its production capacity still lags behind Korean manufacturers, and competition in the AI storage market will become even more intense in the future.
