first_img Breez SDK launched stablecoin payment functionality, supporting over 30 networks

According to Bitcoin Magazine, Bitcoin software provider Breez announced that applications built on its Breez SDK now support users receiving stablecoin payments from over 30 networks using their Bitcoin balance.Breez stated that after the recipient selects the network and amount of the payer, the SDK generates a deposit address and displays the amount received, while the payer pays from their wallet as usual; Flashnet completes the exchange in the background, and the funds ultimately enter the recipient's non-custodial wallet in the form of Bitcoin, or in the form of USD if the stable balance feature is used.In June of this year, Breez launched the ability to send USDT/USDC, allowing a single Breez-powered balance to transfer stablecoins bi-directionally across almost all networks. This update is the latest in a series of usability upgrades, following the rollout of features such as Passkey login, Cash App instant account opening, and stable balance. Breez also launched a reference application called Glow in August to showcase the capabilities of the SDK.The Breez SDK is a developer toolkit that allows applications to add Bitcoin payments without having to build their own payment infrastructure, covering wallet creation, sending and receiving, and Lightning Network payments. Developers can provide Bitcoin functionality with minimal code, without needing to run nodes or manage liquidity. In July of this year, Breez announced a partnership with Turnkey, allowing developers to add non-custodial Bitcoin support to wallet applications running on their own servers.

Trader: The memory sector is fluctuating while waiting for MU's earnings report, BTC may test the support at 82K

Trader degentrading (@degentradingLSD) pre-market analysis shows the following major signals in the current market:Macroeconomic Level: The 10Y yield has risen to 5.2%, and the 30Y has risen to 5.5%, approaching historical highs; the South Korean stock market opened down 2.5%, with the memory and semiconductor sectors (SK Hynix, Samsung, MU, SNDK) generally down 2% to 5%. It is expected that price movements will continue to fluctuate before MU's earnings report is released.New Cloud Computing: The investment payback period for computing projects is now less than a year, and market perceptions are changing. It is expected that the new cloud sector will undergo rapid revaluation, and the issue of power bottlenecks is also receiving increasing attention.Tech Stocks: META is weak pre-market, focusing on buying at the 690 support level or opportunities for breaking historical highs. If the large-scale data center sector breaks through as a whole, META, MSFT, and others will face paradigm-level repricing.Cryptocurrency Market: Mainstream coins and altcoins are generally weak, with BTC possibly testing the 82K support level; last week, TAO and DOGE were reduced, and CRDO was taken for profit to release risk capital. During the KBW period, crypto sentiment is usually somewhat positive, and this week's strategy focuses on finding short-term bullish opportunities.

Ondo Finance launched a smart portfolio customized and supported by BlackRock, bringing portfolio strategies on-chain

Ondo Finance has launched a new category of on-chain products, Ondo Intelligent Portfolios, which presents curated investment portfolios through a single transferable on-chain token. The first three portfolio tokens are constructed based on BlackRock's customized portfolio strategies for Ondo, allowing qualified investors in eligible jurisdictions outside the United States to gain relevant economic exposure through a single token.Traditionally, diversified, professionally constructed investment strategies typically required access through brokerage accounts and traditional fund structures. Now, these portfolios can be accessed through peer-to-peer transferable tokens issued by Ondo, available in users' existing wallets, exchanges, and DeFi applications, and support automatic rebalancing via smart contracts, programmable integration with the broader on-chain economy, and the combination of multiple asset classes within a single token. The three strategies are BLKHIon (High Yield), BLKDIGon (Diversified Growth), and BLKGRWon (High Growth). Holding the tokens provides economic exposure to the underlying asset baskets; each product is issued by Ondo Global Markets and tokenized by Ondo Finance. Investors only need to mint or redeem a single token to hold tokenized assets with weighted allocations, with positions, weights, and rebalancing visible on-chain in real-time.Lisa O'Connor, Head of Global Model Portfolio Solutions at BlackRock Multi-Asset Strategies, and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Global Solutions, stated that tokenization provides a new digital delivery pathway for portfolio strategies; Ian De Bode, Acting CEO and President of Ondo Finance, mentioned that such portfolios have never appeared on-chain before. Ondo plans to continue expanding this product line in the future.

first_img IBM will connect Digital Asset Haven to the Swift shared ledger, supporting tokenized deposit transactions

IBM announced that customers of its digital asset management platform IBM Digital Asset Haven can now connect to permissioned blockchain networks, including the blockchain-based shared ledger from Swift. A new beta version of the ISO 20022 message adapter allows financial institutions to initiate tokenized deposit transactions through this ledger using standard payment messages. IBM stated that financial institutions participating in Swift-related programs have tested tokenized deposits on this ledger using Digital Asset Haven. The ledger supports tokenized deposits issued by banks, enabling participating IBM clients to transfer digital assets around the clock, with final settlement still completed through existing systems.Swift first announced this ledger at Sibos 2025, based on a prototype developed in collaboration with Consensys, with over 40 financial institutions involved in its design, 17 of which are participating in the tokenized deposit pilot. Swift currently connects over 12,500 financial institutions across more than 200 markets worldwide. The aforementioned message adapter allows banks to continue using existing payment message formats and operational processes without adopting blockchain-specific workflows.IBM is also expanding Digital Asset Haven to a localized deployment beta version, which can be installed on IBM Z and IBM LinuxONE in the client's own data center for managing digital assets such as stablecoins and tokenized deposits, without relying on public cloud infrastructure. IBM stated that the platform and key management layer are fully retained within the client's own environment, with keys protected by IBM Crypto Express hardware security modules.

Analysis: Bitcoin prices are diverging from demand, with ETF inflows and trading platforms transferring out holdings providing short-term support

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost pointed out that although the price of Bitcoin is rising, sustained buying pressure is still difficult to rebuild, and market signals are mixed. The cumulative spot demand over the past 30 days is -180,000 BTC, still negative, while futures demand is +54,000 BTC, still positive but slightly declining. The total average demand improved from -188,000 BTC to -126,000 BTC, narrowing the gap but still remaining in negative territory. Recently, there has been a divergence between price and total demand; Bitcoin's price has risen, but total demand has not turned positive, indicating that the increase is more driven by reduced selling pressure rather than strong buying.Looking at different sectors, the demand recovery is not uniform. For institutions, the geopolitical and macro environment is poor, but the Coinbase Premium, weighted by trading volume, has briefly turned positive, indicating that U.S. spot prices occasionally have a premium over other markets, and institutional selling pressure has significantly eased. ETFs have seen the biggest change in this round, with demand completely reversing compared to this summer, having recently net purchased about 70,000 BTC. The cumulative net inflow for 2026 is still about -17,000 BTC, but it is close to turning positive. In terms of trading platforms, the entire month of September has been characterized by net outflows, leaning towards accumulation rather than distribution. Bitcoin leaving trading platforms usually means that short-term selling pressure is lighter. Analyst Darkfost summarized that the current price increase is not due to enhanced buying pressure, but rather because investors have not continued to increase selling pressure at higher price levels, and the market structure remains fragile.
