first_img Bittensor co-founders release decentralized roadmap, aiming to complete it within a year and a half

Bittensor co-founder const posted on the X platform, detailing the current state of decentralization of the project, future roadmap, and goals. Bittensor has not yet achieved decentralization at the economic incentive layer, which is still led by the core team, including const himself, two engineers, and a core group of contributors. The project has been live for over 5 years, with no pre-mining, and has 128 subnet teams and over 20 core validator teams, achieving decentralization at the ownership distribution level. The team chose to rapidly iterate at the cost of "maintaining centralization" rather than slowly advancing "democratic" decision-making.Regarding future update plans, Bittensor will promote validators to re-enter the competitive mechanism while opening liquidity pools for two-way investment to symmetrize the market and prevent on-chain signals from being manipulated. Additionally, a belief mechanism will be introduced to grant voting rights to Alpha token holders. In the coming weeks, updates will also be made to TaoFlow and its derivatives, further fine-tuning the issuance distribution algorithm to optimize the distribution method of inflation. Const expects to complete the construction of core mechanisms within the next year and a half, at which point the three pillars of incentive alignment, value optimization, and true ownership will operate in synergy, ultimately achieving complete decentralization by abandoning centralized control.

a16z co-founder: Support the establishment of trust and safety guardrails for the new era, oppose regulations that stifle AI innovation

Marc Andreessen, co-founder of the venture capital firm a16z, published an article outlining his stance on AI regulation by the U.S. government. He stated that if so-called regulation means creating complex rules by people who do not understand the technology, suppressing innovation through layers of approval and compliance requirements, and ultimately becoming a tool for large enterprises to consolidate market positions and hinder newcomers, then he will firmly oppose such regulation. In his view, excessive regulation often leads to startups being crushed by cumbersome procedures and high compliance costs, causing innovative talent to flow to more open markets, while regulatory agencies themselves continue to expand, ultimately deviating from their original goals.Andreessen specifically criticized the regulatory mindset centered on the "precautionary principle," arguing that if this concept is amplified indefinitely, it could lead society to reject new technologies out of fear of potential risks. Many regulatory measures often arrive late, after fundamental changes in technology and industry have already occurred, making it difficult to address real issues and potentially becoming obstacles to innovative development. He also attributed the relatively lagging state of technological innovation in Europe in recent years to a culture of excessive regulation, believing that regulation should not become a moat to protect vested interests and raise market entry barriers. However, Andreessen emphasized that he does not oppose all forms of regulation. On the contrary, he supports rules that can build market trust, ensure public safety, and maintain fair competition. For example, preventing AI from faking voices to commit financial fraud, preventing deepfake content from interfering with elections, preventing technology from being used to harm vulnerable groups, and ensuring that consumers and businesses can safely use new technologies. In his view, reasonable regulation is like guardrails on a highway and a braking system in a car; it does not hinder technological progress but rather allows innovation to develop in a faster and more sustainable manner. Andreessen stated that what is truly worth pursuing is not "zero regulation" or "heavy regulation," but finding a balance between innovative vitality and social trust, which is also his unwavering stance.Previously, the U.S. government forcibly "recalled" commercial models due to jailbreak risks, leading Anthropic to take Fable 5 offline overnight and publicly protest.

Glassnode co-founder: Bitcoin may have reached a bottom range, with a high probability that the bottom is between $46,000 and $54,000

Glassnode co-founder Rafael posted an analysis of the recent Bitcoin price trend on the X platform, noting that the current Bitcoin price is in the $62,000 range, having dropped nearly 50% from its all-time high, with a decline of 24% over the past month. The price has crossed the upper range of its pricing framework, entering a valuation cluster area where historical cycles have previously shown bottoms.Rafael further pointed out that market bottoms cannot be confirmed in advance and can only be defined through probability ranges and key price levels to identify potential bottom signals. Bitcoin has fallen below the median holder breakeven line for the first time since December 2022, currently situated within a broader support range: the median realized price is approximately $64,100, and the 200-week moving average price is around $61,700.The current high-probability bottom range may be between $46,000 and $54,000, with a rare "sell-off tail" below that range of $35,000 to $40,000. It is important to note that the magnitude of cyclical pullbacks is gradually decreasing: previous rounds of lows saw declines of about 85%, 84%, and 77%, while this round has only dropped about 50%, indicating that a high-probability bottom is more likely to be in the upper range, though extreme sell-off possibilities cannot be ruled out.
