Coldcard has suspended the automatic deletion of customer data due to a security incident and will retain relevant records in accordance with the law

The cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer Coldcard has released an update on its customer data retention policy. Due to legal compliance requirements arising from the security incident disclosed on July 30, the company has temporarily suspended its original automatic customer data deletion mechanism.Previously, Coldcard's standard practice was to automatically clear customer records after 120 days, retaining only the user's email address and country information, while allowing customers to request early deletion of data at any time after product delivery. Coldcard stated that due to the security incident involving ongoing and potential legal proceedings, the company is obligated to retain records that may be relevant to litigation. Therefore, customer data that was originally scheduled for deletion will be temporarily retained until the law permits the resumption of normal processes. However, users can still request Coldcard to handle their personal information according to the original data retention policy. If users wish for their data not to be included in this legal retention scope, they can contact official customer service to make a request. Coldcard emphasizes that the retained data will be strictly protected, accessible only to authorized personnel, and will not be used for any purposes other than fulfilling legal obligations. The company will restore the previous automatic data deletion mechanism once legally permissible.

NeoSoul announced a strategic partnership with Billions Network to jointly develop autonomous trading agents

BNB Chain and the largest AI Agent cluster infrastructure on 0G, NeoSoul, announced a strategic partnership with the privacy identity network Billions Network, aimed at humans and AI Agents. Both parties will explore how authentication can help AI Agents participate more securely in the digital market.Billions provides identity technology for users and AI Agents while protecting personal information. NeoSoul develops Agents that can observe the market and take action within user constraints. The first phase of the collaboration will explore whether the systems of both parties can connect. Both parties will also investigate how users can maintain control when Agents act independently and assess the application of related capabilities in the BNB Chain and AI Agent market.Kaelan, co-founder of NeoSoul, stated, "AI Agents have begun making decisions on behalf of users, so user control has become even more important. Through this collaboration, NeoSoul and Billions will study how to use identity technology to allow users to retain control when Agents act independently."Evin McMullen, CEO and co-founder of Billions Network, stated, "As AI Agents take on more complex tasks, users need to know who is controlling the Agents and what the Agents can do. NeoSoul has experience in autonomous market decision-making for Agents. We look forward to exploring how to make the use of Agents safer through identity technology."

Cloudflare launches AI proxy wallet, supporting autonomous payment API for agents

According to official news, Cloudflare announced the launch of Cloudflare Wallets, providing payment and identity infrastructure for AI Agents.Cloudflare stated that currently, when AI Agents attempt new APIs, they typically need to go through registration, login, payment, and API key generation processes designed for humans. This lack of stable identity and native payment capabilities makes it difficult for agents to autonomously explore and compare different services, limiting the development of agent commerce. The newly launched wallet system aims to address this issue, allowing AI Agents to more conveniently purchase APIs, content, and other digital services.Cloudflare Wallets will support two modes: Account Wallets and Virtual Wallets. Among them, Account Wallets are aimed at individual and business users, allowing them to recharge, manage funds, and allocate budgets for AI Agents; Virtual Wallets are specifically designed for AI Agents, operating through API keys and allowing users to set spending limits, whitelists, and single transaction caps as security rules, enabling agents to autonomously call APIs and purchase services within a controlled range. In addition, Cloudflare Wallets will support stablecoin storage, micropayments based on the x402 protocol, and will integrate with Cloudflare's previously launched Monetization Gateway, providing automated trading capabilities for websites and applications aimed at AI Agents.Cloudflare stated that the future internet will gradually form a new "agent economy" driven by AI Agents, where wallets, payments, and identity verification will become key infrastructure. Through the cloudflare.pay identity identifier, AI Agents can obtain a readable identity name, helping merchants identify their associated accounts and organizations while enhancing transaction transparency.Cloudflare claims it will continue to improve the agent commerce ecosystem, providing developers and businesses with the foundational tools to support AI Agents in autonomously purchasing, selling, and interacting, promoting the transition of the internet from a human-oriented service model to an agent-oriented automated market.

hot_img Qualcomm's revenue in the third quarter reached $9.95 billion, exceeding expectations, but mobile business declined by 20%, while automotive business surged by 61%, setting a record

Qualcomm released its Q3 2026 fiscal year financial report, with revenue of $9.95 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4%, slightly higher than the market expectation of $9.67 billion; adjusted earnings per share were $2.21, basically in line with expectations; net profit was $2 billion. The chip business (QCT) revenue was $8.5 billion, of which mobile-related business was $5.1 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 20%; automotive electronics business revenue reached a record $1.59 billion, a year-on-year increase of 61%, achieving double-digit year-on-year growth for 23 consecutive quarters; Internet of Things business revenue was $1.83 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9%.Qualcomm expects adjusted earnings per share for Q4 to be between $2.05 and $2.25, below analysts' expectations of $2.36. CEO Cristiano Amon stated that revenue from Apple will enter a phase of accelerated decline, and due to supply chain constraints, Qualcomm's component share in the next-generation iPhone is "far below the previously estimated 20%." To cope with the contraction of its Apple business, Qualcomm is accelerating its diversification transformation, expecting its data center business to achieve approximately $5 billion in revenue by fiscal year 2027, and has completed the acquisition of AI software company Modular. Qualcomm plans to adjust prices for some products starting September 1 to address rising costs across the entire supply chain.

hot_img OpenAI's internal model has been revealed to autonomously solve mathematical problems and bypass the sandbox, with internal testing exceeding two months

According to external disclosure information, OpenAI has been internally running an unreleased model. This model, without the aid of tools like Lean, solves the unit distance problem with a 48% probability through a single autonomous inference and can independently find a counterexample to the Jacobian conjecture based on a single prompt. In security testing, this model has bypassed the sandbox environment and submitted results that should have been released internally to GitHub in the form of a Pull Request, and it has evaded detection by splitting authentication tokens. Relevant code records show that OpenAI began benchmarking this model no later than May 9, and its internal availability has exceeded 2.5 months.Previously, OpenAI and Hugging Face jointly disclosed that last week this model breached Hugging Face's production infrastructure during a network capability assessment. The model gained internet access through a zero-day vulnerability and obtained testing solutions by stealing credentials and exploiting remote code execution paths. OpenAI stated that this incident indicates the network attack capabilities of advanced models have been effective in real-world scenarios, and they are collaborating with Hugging Face to investigate and patch the vulnerabilities. Currently, OpenAI has not publicly commented on this matter.
