Swedish lawmakers officially submitted a proposal to establish a national strategic Bitcoin reserve

ChainCatcher news, Swedish Democrats lawmakers Dennis Dioukarev and David Perez have officially submitted a proposal to the country's parliament this Wednesday local time, requesting the establishment of a national strategic Bitcoin reserve to combat inflation and prepare for a potential "disruptive shift in global financial infrastructure."

According to the proposal, Sweden hopes to emulate the United States by using seized Bitcoin as a reserve base, but which agency will manage the Bitcoin remains an open question.
