Factory acquires the coding intelligence platform HumanLayer, and the product will be open source

According to the announcement from Factory, the enterprise-level AI software engineering company Factory has announced the acquisition of the coding intelligence collaboration platform HumanLayer, with co-founders Dex Horthy and Kyle Mistele joining.

The HumanLayer platform will be open-sourced, supporting users to export data and migrate to Factory or self-host the open-source version during the transition period.
