Mining company Bitdeer reported a net loss of 251.8 million USD in the first half of the year
Mining company Bitdeer released its unaudited consolidated financial statements for the six months ending June 30, 2026. The net revenue for the first half of 2026 was $417.7 million, compared to $225.7 million in the same period last year. During the same period, the gross loss was $47.57 million, operating loss was $208.3 million, and net loss was $251.8 million, while the net profit in the same period last year was $42.38 million.
In terms of digital assets, Bitdeer directly holds digital assets with a fair value of approximately $34.762 million, including 406 BTC, valued at approximately $24.455 million; 3,080 ETH, valued at approximately $4.962 million; 5.3116 million USDT, valued at approximately $5.304 million; as well as 7,447 FIL and a small amount of other digital assets.
The company also recorded approximately $162.2 million in digital asset receivables, primarily from approximately 162.4 million USDT pledged to the related party BIT Group. The total of digital assets and digital asset receivables is approximately $196.9 million. The company disclosed that the vast majority of digital assets are custodied by the related party BIT Group.
