Amazon's data center in Bahrain was damaged in an attack by Iran
According to Bloomberg, satellite images show that two Amazon.com Inc. data centers located in Bahrain were damaged, which aligns with Iran's claim last week of using missiles to attack these facilities.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran released high-resolution satellite images through the official background media Tasnim News Agency, showing that the two data centers in Bahrain's Zarqa and Askar areas suffered severe damage, stating that they were targeted because Amazon supports U.S. military operations. Independent low-resolution images captured by the European Space Agency (ESA) Sentinel-2 satellite constellation, reviewed by Bloomberg, also show signs of damage at both facilities.
