U.S. stocks opened, with the Dow down 0.55% and Alphabet down 6.6%

According to Gate's market data, U.S. stocks opened with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.55%, the S&P 500 down 0.87%, and the Nasdaq Composite down 1.3%. Alphabet (GOOG.O) fell 6.6% as its 2026 capital expenditure guidance far exceeded market expectations. NIO Inc. (NIO.N) rose 7.9%, expecting to achieve its first quarterly profit in the fourth quarter. Dingdong Maicai (DDL.N) dropped 12%, as Meituan plans to acquire Dingdong Maicai for $717 million.
