Web3 development platform Thirdweb hires former Facebook executive as Vice President of Gaming

ChainCatcher news, the Web3 development platform Thirdweb has appointed former Facebook executive Atif Khan as its Vice President of Gaming. Recently, Thirdweb is developing a new Web3 game. It is reported that Khan worked at Facebook for eight years, where he served as the global gaming mid-market and in-app advertising lead. After leaving in 2021, he joined the Web3 gaming infrastructure company Stardust as Chief Operating Officer.

Thirdweb is a development platform that provides developers with a Web3 infrastructure toolkit to help build decentralized applications for blockchain games, NFTs, DAOs, and more. The crypto data platform RootData shows that Thirdweb completed a $24 million Series A funding round in August 2022 at a valuation of $160 million, led by Haun Ventures, with participation from Polygon Labs, Coinbase Ventures, and Shopify.
