Hypercall plans to launch the Anthropic-related pre-IPO options market, expected to start trading on Monday
The on-chain options platform Hypercall, based on Hyperliquid, plans to launch a pre-IPO options market linked to Anthropic, claiming it to be the first of its kind. Trading is expected to start on Monday and will operate around the clock, open only in certain non-U.S. jurisdictions and not available to U.S. customers; the platform will support call and put options as well as spread strategies. The relevant contracts are synthetic, cash-settled derivatives, and traders will not hold actual shares of Anthropic or gain voting rights, with settlement amounts calculated based on the strike price and the reference price at expiration. The existing perpetual contracts associated with Anthropic on Hyperliquid can provide hedging channels for options market makers.
Hypercall currently also offers options linked to SpaceX, the S&P 500 index, Bitcoin, and Ethereum; its founder Jake Sylvestre previously disclosed that the nominal trading volume for September options was $536 million.
