Ansem talks about short-term trading: time is also an important indicator of risk management
Cryptocurrency trader Ansem shared his risk management experience for short-term trading, stating that traders should not only focus on price and stop-loss levels; time is also an important factor in determining whether a trade is effective.
Ansem mentioned that when he enters a trade, he expects the market to show significant volatility quickly. If Bitcoin stays near the entry price for a long time without moving in the expected direction, he will begin to reassess the trading logic. Sometimes, even if the stop-loss level has not been triggered, he will exit early due to the market not unfolding as anticipated.
He believes that one of the advantages of short-cycle trading is the ability to identify earlier whether a trading strategy is effective. To determine whether a trade is worth holding onto, one must not only look at price trends but also consider the time it takes for the market to meet expectations.
