Hurricane approaching, 63% of crude oil production in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico suspended
Hurricane "Isaias" is approaching, and nearly 63% of offshore crude oil production in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico has been suspended. Energy giants such as BP, Shell, and Chevron have cut production and evacuated platform personnel.
The hurricane is expected to make landfall early Friday or Saturday.
