Vietnam plans to explore an independent regulatory framework for digital assets to promote the modernization of its financial system

According to a report by OpenMarkets under CME Group, Vietnam signed Decision No. 1413/QD-TTg in July 2026, proposing to explore an independent regulatory framework for digital assets as part of the modernization of the financial system and reforms to integrate with global markets.

Vietnam is also advancing the construction of international financial centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, developing financial technology and capital markets.
