U.S. SEC Chairman: Hopes to put the stock market on-chain, the financial system is moving towards the crypto era

During a live interview with CNBC, Paul Atkins, the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stated that he hopes to promote the stock market's transition to on-chain operations and mentioned that the entire financial system is moving towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

The SEC has previously launched an "Innovation Exemption," allowing eligible trading venues to conduct on-chain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks.
