Kazakhstan's regulated cryptocurrency market surpasses 10 billion USD, and the Web3 ecosystem ranks among the top ten globally

According to the Astana Times, Kazakhstan's regulated cryptocurrency market is expected to reach a trading volume of $10.58 billion by 2025, a significant increase from $320 million in 2023, with the number of users rising from 53,000 to 215,000.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan has ranked among the top ten globally in the number of applications for the international Solana hackathon, with over 8,000 people completing training through the Solana ecosystem and more than 2,000 receiving certificates. Additionally, the country has 57 Web3 startups that have received a total of approximately $262,000 in funding and plans to complete the tokenization of real estate and logistics projects worth up to $60 million by the end of 2026, to explore the feasibility of digital assets as a new financing channel for the economy.
