Pixelmon announced the cessation of all game development and the disbandment of the game team

The NFT game project Pixelmon stated on its official Discord that the latest round of game testing conducted by external publishers yielded unsatisfactory results. The team has decided to cease further polishing or testing of the existing game and stop all game development.

Pixelmon has notified the game team members and provided severance arrangements. Pixelmon had completed a $8 million seed round of financing in 2024, with investments from Animoca Brands, Delphi Ventures, Foresight Ventures, Amber Group, and others.
