OpenSea has added Solana NFT trading on OS2, supporting browsing, purchasing, and selling

OpenSea announced the addition of Solana NFT trading on OS2, allowing collectors to browse, purchase, and sell Solana digital collectibles on the platform, with series like Mad Lads and Claynosaurz available at launch. The release on August 31 expands OpenSea's Solana services beyond fungible tokens. The company stated that collectors can use the platform without switching wallets or accessing multiple markets, while Solana creators gain a new channel to reach buyers.

The OS2 version released by OpenSea in May 2025 offers fungible token trading across 19 chains, including Solana. The newly added NFT support fills a functional gap on the Solana side of the platform. OpenSea stated that users can now buy, sell, trade, and bid on top Solana series. This move creates more direct competition with existing Solana markets like Magic Eden and Tensor.
