The U.S. military clears Iranian mines, restoring navigation in the Strait of Hormuz
The U.S. Central Command stated that the troops successfully cleared mines allegedly laid by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in the international shipping lanes of the Strait of Hormuz.
The Strait of Hormuz is now open, and transit traffic volume continues to increase.
