According to Yonhap News Agency, Park Hyun-joo, Chairman of Mirae Asset Group, stated that the cryptocurrency trading platform Digital X will be the core pillar of "Mirae Asset 3.0." Based on the group's customer assets exceeding 1,500 trillion won, the initial goal is to expand the digital asset business to 150 trillion won and aim for profitability by 2027.

Mirae Asset plans to expand its products around four major directions: crypto assets, stablecoins, RWA, and STO, and promote the digitization of assets such as gold, silver, and electricity, as well as on-chain financial services. Digital X was formerly the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Korbit, which was renamed after Mirae Asset Group acquired 97.15% of its shares.
