Analyst: The HYPE team has cumulatively cashed out approximately 165 million USD after the token unlock, while the aid fund spent about 364 million USD on buybacks during the same period

According to MLM monitoring, since the unlocking of the HYPE team tokens in December 2025, 4.93 million HYPE have been allocated to team members, valued at approximately 270 million dollars at current prices, accounting for 0.493% of the total supply.

Among them, 1.19 million HYPE have been sold on the open market, cashing out 32.5 million dollars; another 3.14 million HYPE have been transferred to over-the-counter trading platforms, valued at approximately 132 million dollars at the time of transfer.

In total, approximately 4.33 million HYPE have been sold, amounting to about 165 million dollars, with an average of about 540,000 HYPE sold per month, valued at approximately 20.6 million dollars.

During the same period, the aid fund has repurchased approximately 9.8 million HYPE, spending about 364 million dollars, with an average of 1.23 million HYPE repurchased per month, valued at approximately 46 million dollars, with a repurchase rate more than twice that of the current and former team members' selling speed.
