Fanatics will acquire the regulated exchange and clearinghouse under BGC and launch a prediction market business

The sports merchandise platform Fanatics will acquire the federally regulated exchange and clearinghouse under BGC to launch and settle its own prediction market business.

Fanatics and BGC also plan to develop new market data products that combine prediction market activities with traditional financial market data. This deal allows Fanatics to enter the prediction market space, competing alongside platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket.
