The Japanese and South Korean stock markets closed higher, with the South Korean KOSPI index rising nearly 1%
According to Gate market data, the Nikkei 225 index closed up 320.04 points on July 27 (Monday), an increase of 0.5%, reporting at 64,931.19 points.
The South Korean KOSPI index also closed up 65.12 points on the same day, an increase of 0.97%, reporting at 6,755.74 points, with SK Hynix rising 3.5% and Samsung Electronics rising 2%.
