CFTC Chairman: The United States will never launch a central bank digital currency

Mike Selig, Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), stated on the X platform that under the supervision of the U.S. President's Digital Asset Market Working Group, the U.S. will never launch a central bank digital currency.
