Phantom hires the core team of Ventuals to deepen its derivatives business layout
The crypto wallet Phantom announced that it has hired three core members of the Ventuals team, Alvin Hsia, Emily Hsia, and Aris Samad, to join its trading and data department. Ventuals was a decentralized perpetual contract trading platform built on Hyperliquid, focusing on pre-valuation trading of private companies, and it processed over $650 million in trading volume before shutting down in mid-June this year.
Phantom CEO Brandon Millman stated that over the past year, Phantom has become the largest distribution partner in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, with open markets and perpetual contracts being its current focus for development. The introduction of the Ventuals founding team, which has deep experience in open market development, aims to further accelerate Phantom's product expansion in the native derivatives trading and related infrastructure fields.
