Microsoft announces a new type of encrypted clipboard Trojan software threat that can stealthily spread and hijack digital asset wallet addresses
Microsoft's Threat Intelligence team has announced a Windows clipboard trojan threat that has been active since February 2026. This malware combines "worm-like propagation + clipboard hijacking + Tor anonymous communication" to target digital asset users for attacks.
