The United States seized 9 million USDT related to "pig butchering" scams

According to Bloomberg, the U.S. government has seized nearly $9 million in USDT, stating that the related funds can be traced back to an organized fraud network.

The U.S. Department of Justice stated that this operation targeted a scam model commonly known as "pig butchering," where the involved gang gained the victims' trust by establishing fake romantic or personal relationships and induced victims to transfer money with fabricated cryptocurrency investment returns.
