Bostic: A rate cut in December is not a foregone conclusion

According to Jin Shi reports, Atlanta Fed President Bostic made it clear on Friday that a rate cut in December is not a foregone conclusion. He emphasized that each meeting is a live decision, with no preset path, and will not deviate from the principle of data dependence. Although the market has strong expectations for a rate cut at the end of the year, Fed Chairman Powell stated after this week's policy meeting that a December rate cut is not a certainty, which is a wise move. Bostic pointed out that the dot plot values indicate differing views, and decisions will rely on data to ensure appropriateness.
