ChainCatcher news, according to Protos, Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz's Instagram account was hacked to promote a new PumpFun base token called IGLOO. This incident was exposed on Wednesday by NFT enthusiast "JBond" on the X platform and confirmed by Pudgy Penguins' ecosystem growth lead "Becca."

JBond pointed out that Luca Netz's account may have been hacked, as he posted about a new token called IGLOO, which is related to the Igloo Inc treasury and created through a Pump Fun link. JBond emphasized that this does not align with the Pudgy Penguins team's usual conduct and advised everyone to remain vigilant until the team issues a statement. Despite the suspicious nature of the post, as of the time of writing, the market cap of the IGLOO token was nearing $16,000, with a 24-hour trading volume of nearly $72,000.
