USDT0 has officially integrated with the Bitcoin Layer 2 network Rootstock

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the cross-chain version of USDT, USDT0, has officially integrated with the Bitcoin Layer 2 network Rootstock (RSK). This stablecoin adopts a full-chain deployment model and currently covers the Ethereum, Arbitrum, Unichain, and OP Superchain ecosystems.

According to the developer Everdawn Labs, USDT0 is fully backed by a 1:1 reserve of USDT on the Ethereum chain, aiming to reduce cross-chain transaction costs. The Rootstock technical architecture is compatible with EVM while anchoring the Bitcoin proof-of-work (PoW) mechanism.

Rootstock's Chief Growth Officer Ben Sanders stated that this integration will provide users with more convenient cross-chain services for stablecoins, and is expected to enhance the usage of decentralized exchanges (DEX) and lending protocols within the Rootstock ecosystem.
