Messaging protocol XMTP launches testnet

ChainCatcher message, the messaging protocol XMTP tweeted that it has launched a testnet with the support of Coinbase Wallet, Circle, ENS, Alchemy, a16z crypto, Mask Network, and Faction.

The official statement indicates that the testnet application will automatically allocate micro-fees paid in USDC to node operators; messages are transmitted through an off-chain broadcasting network within milliseconds; and consensus on critical states is maintained using Arbitrum Orbit on Base.
