ChainCatcher news, StarkWare's Head of Product and Market Strategy Louis Guthmann stated that Starknet will introduce parallelization features in the next upgrade.

By adding Block-STM (a parallel execution engine adopted by Aptos) to the sequencer, network performance is expected to increase from 100 TPS to 300-1000 TPS, which means an increase of 3-10 times.
