ChainCatcher news, at the Oak Grove Crypto 2024 held on April 5, Ritual founding member Saneel mentioned in a speech titled "AI x Crypto: The What, Why and How" that Ritual has created a decentralized AI computing platform, hoping that AI can be used anywhere in the world.

Currently, Ritual has launched Infernet, which brings computing on-chain and can be seen as a decentralized oracle network that better optimizes AI. Saneel revealed that Ritual will also explore how to use AI models off-chain in the future.

In building a decentralized AI computing platform, Saneel believes there are four very important points: 1) whether decentralization can be guaranteed; 2) how to ensure that when users reach out to model developers to create products, they do not have to worry about stack or model issues; 3) privacy issues, how to ensure that data will not be misused by third parties; 4) incentive model issues, how to ensure that end users can gain benefits from their participation in usage, etc.
